Correction for Diplomates Initially Board Certified in 1998
In a June 2006 mailing sent to ABO diplomates originally Board Certified in 1998, the ABO incorrectly stated that PORT is not required for successful completion of MOC. One PORT in Core Ophthalmology is required for diplomates initially Board Certified in 1998 for the successful completion of the MOC process. Please see the MOC Exam Schedule for MOC components and required timeframes.
